The OATS program is proud to offer a variety of therapeutic services to our clients in addition to the core addiction treatment services. Our Treatment philosophy is as follows: - Treatment is based on the needs of the individual. - Recovery from addiction takes time and support. - Many different factors impact the individual. - People need support, attention and understanding. - Staff specializes in working with individuals with co-occuring mental health and substance abuse concerns - Services promote an increased understanding of: ? The disease of addiction ? The 12 Steps ? Care for self ? Problem solving skills, - Staff consists of: ? Addiction Counselors ? Social Workers ? Licensed Professional Counselors ? Registered Nurses ? Board-certified Addictions Psychiatrists ? Child Life Specialist Services provided include: - Diagnostic Assessment - Gender specific group therapy - Individual Therapy - Case Management - Education on the disease of addiction - Cognitive Behavioral Therapy - Acupuncture - Play Center - Parenting Group - Dual Diagnosis Education and Support - Relapse Prevention Education In addition, we provide the following services: Suboxone Maintenance: Available to eligible clients who are attending or scheduled to attend the IOP or Outpatient programs. Extended Methadone Detoxification: We offer a 6 month methadone detoxification in conjunction with group and individual therapy Evening Hours: OATS offers evening counseling services for people who are employed. Evening hours are available on Tuesday and Thursday from 5pm to 7pm. Play Center: Child Care is available to clients while they are attending their scheduled therapy services at OATS. The Play Center can provide care to children ages newborn to 12 years old. Marijuana Focused Groups: these sessions are designed to focus on the needs specific to clients who identify marijuana as the primary drug of choice. Group Therapy for Grief and Loss : Sessions focus on providing understanding,support and skills to manage thoughts and feelings that are a result of the loss of a loved one. Empowerment Groups: these sessions provide support and education to women who are in need of support for issues related to abuse or domestic violence. Parenting Classes: a 14 week course that provides education to mothers and fathers on parenting skills such knowledge of age appropriate milestones, appropriate discipline, ways to reward good behavior and improved family communication.
