BRIEF: Lewis County Seeks Veteran Advisory Board Applicants

May 04--The Lewis County Veterans Advisory Board is seeking a volunteer member to fill a vacancy.

The board advises the county commissioners on the needs of area veterans and how to best direct resources to aid them.

Meetings are held at 10 a.m. the first Wednesday of each month in the Public Health Department Building, located across the street from the Lewis County Courthouse in Chehalis.

The applicant must have an honorable discharge from the military and attach a copy of his or her DD214 form to the application. There will also be a background check and an interview before a recommendation for appointment is made to the commissioners.
